This park was created at around UN Memorial Park in November 2005, to celebrate 2005 APEC Leaders’ Meeting. This famous venue, meeting with Busan Culture Center & the museum in the near, is local residents’ relaxing place where equips a ground fountain, pergolas, and a jogging course.

1. 2004.06.02 : Established the plan to create peace park & embarked on degisn
2. 2004.09.02 : Decided on peace neighborhood park as city-planning-facilities
3. 2005.03.16 : Approval on modification of city-planning-facilities’ execution plan (implementer: Head of Nam-gu & Mayor of Busan)
4. 2005.04.25 : Started peace park construction
5. 2005.09.30 : Completed land compensation (24,200 million KRW for 128 cases including 18 lots)
6. 2005.10.28 : Completed peace park construction
